Job summary
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic development, quality and patient experience, performance, financial stewardship and governance of the Trust. Whilst leading the executive team, the post holder will foster a culture of inclusive, diverse leadership and will continue to build on the success of the organisation, strengthening and enhancing pursuit of the Trust's vision.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure 'patients are at the heart of everything we do', promoting the development of world-leading services and clinical research, and engaging with people, patients and the wider health and local community to improve clinical, quality and safety outcomes, the patient experience and support the reduction in inequalities in health across the region. The Chief Executive Officer champions and role models to demonstrate the UHNM (University Hospitals of North Midlands) Values and behaviours in all that they do.
