Apprentice Warehouse & Distribution Assistant

Job summary

Vacancy is for an Apprentice Warehouse Assistant to perform receipting of deliveries, picking of consumables, distribution of goods to Wards and Departments and putting away of stock.

Main duties of the job

• Main duties include receipting, tracking and recording of deliveries and producing electronic goods receipt notes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are filed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Picking of locally stocked products and packing safely and securely within delivery cages.

Main duties of the job

Putting away of stocked products utilising safe manual handling techniques and equipment.

Preparing and organising stock for distribution to Wards and Departments.

The putting away of various products within a clinical ward area and within the Supplies & Procurement Warehouse.
