Job summary
We are looking for a band 2 Lung Health Screening Clerical Assistant who has previous experience of providing administrative services ideally within a NHS environment.
The post holder will be part of a busy but friendly team providing clerical support to the Targeted Lung Health Team. The post will be based at a variety of locations as the project moves through the city but is predominately based at the Bridge Centre, Birches Head.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a band 2 Lung Health Screening Clerical Assistant who has previous experience of providing administrative services ideally within a NHS environment. The post holder will be part of a busy but friendly team providing clerical support to the Targeted Lung Health Team. The post will be based at a variety of locations as the project moves through the city.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we re-design our service to deliver a combination of face to face and virtual clinics. Key tasks include answering the telephone, resolving patient queries, booking / changing appointments for clinics, recording referrals, scanning documents, sending electronic tasks, monitoring waiting times, cancelling / adding clinics and patient groups, taking minutes, monitoring patient literature and stationery stock levels, photocopying and booking rooms.
EMIS and UHNM computer system training will be provided, but experience of patient admin systems is advantageous for this role.
