Job summary
The Clinical Placement Project Manager will assist the Clinical Education Programme Lead in supporting the quality, expansion and monitoring of clinical placements across the SSoT Integrated Care System (ICS).
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse, midwife or allied health professional who has graduated from, or is applying to register on, our Chief Nurse Fellow programme.
Main duties of the job
This role, together with the Clinical Education Programme Lead role, will be part of the Integrated Care System (ICS) Education, Training and Development workstream, led by the Chief Nurse (UHNM) as Senior Responsible Officer and supported by the ICS People Function.
The Education workstream is well established and brings together partners from across the system to strengthen our supply pipeline, improve our approach to education and training locally, and to ensure placement capacity matches current and future requirements - delivering the aims of the NHS Long term Workforce Plan and People Plan. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse, midwife or allied health professional to facilitate the development of clinical placements. The Clinical Placement Project Manager will be clinically and professionally supported by the CeNREE team and will have access to all of the development opportunities that team can offer.
