Job summary

The Imaging department have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Operational Services Manager.

This is an excellent career development opportunity for individuals who are already in recognised management roles who wish to pursue their career path into a fast paced demanding operational management role.

As an Operational Services Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Directorate Team, to ensure the efficient operational management and delivery of performance targets Organisational skills, resourceful and excellent communication skills are essential along with waiting list and staff management experience. Focusing on critical issues, quickly identifying solutions and multi-tasking are essential to the role.

A flexible approach is required, as is the need to be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise set tasks and objective. This post will be based at the Royal Stoke site primarily, although there may be a requirement in instances to work across site at County Hospital.

Main duties of the job

As an Operational Services Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Directorate Team, to ensure the efficient operational management and delivery of performance targets.

You will be responsible for managing the waiting list, identifying capacity issues, staff management and managing the operational delivery of performance,
