Job summary

The medical receiving unit (MRU) at County Hospital UHNM is the medical SDEC unit working within acute medicine. The MRU sits under the emergency care directorate. The unit sees medical patients direct form GPs, 111, ED alongside planned returners needing medical review after discharge home from a previous admission. The successful candidates will shares our vision in the provision of clinical excellence. If you are a quality driven person wishing to deliver a high quality service to our patients and their families, have the ability to work well within a dynamic and challenging environment and have a passion to develop specialist nursing skills and assist in the management and leadership of our junior staff, we would love to hear from you.

The MRU unit manager will be responsible for leading the shift, developing nursing roles and the function of the unit within the improving together methodology
