Senior Sister/Charge Nurse

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse on Ward 123

Ward 123 currently is a 25 bedded ward where medical patients are transferred directly from Emergency Portals or other medical wards.

The patient group is adults with a range of medical conditions and at differing stages of there care and treatment journey. Patient conditions can be of any acute medical condition across a range of modalities such as respiratory, diabetes, renal, general medicine and care of the elderly.

The team have been together for just over 12 months and are looking for a permanent, reliable and consistent leader with a passion for quality care. A leader that values their team and team wellbeing.

Main duties of the job

You will be a role model for staff and ensure all grades are supported in their work. You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and have high clinical standards and the ability to lead a team. You must be able to set clear direction and be collaborative in your approach.

Working in line with the Trust Values and People Strategy is essential.
