We have a number of Nursing Assistant vacancies across the Trust at both of our hospital sites, Royal Stoke and County Hospital, across a variety of wards and departments. The Trust aims to foster a culture of continuous learning. We appreciate and value the contribution of our Nursing Assistant workforce, and we support the opportunity for apprenticeships and other training to help you progress through the pay scale. Many of our Nursing Assistants have trained to Nursing Associate level and some are now training to 'top up' to Registered Nurses.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Nursing Assistant in the Trust is different depending upon the ward or department the role is based, however you would be delivering care and support to our patients, learning new skills in assessment and documentation, as well as working as part of the wider team to deliver an excellent patient experience.
