Desktop support engineer band 4
The Trust is looking for an Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) Coordinator to support our client base, located on multiple sites. The IMAC Coordinator will coordinate the delivery, installation, moves and changes of end user's computer equipment and peripherals to include but not limited to laptops, tablets, desktops, monitors, apple Ipods/Ipads and printers.
As IMAC Coordinator you will also maintain the surplus stock of items to be deployed to or returned from end-users. These will include longer term stock items that are purchased for future projects.
Main duties of the job
Image/Reimage Laptop, Desktops and Tablet devices
Manage the Sunrise Asset Management Module ensuring all items are updated in a timely fashion
Pick Up equipment from multiple locations and return to stock or customer depending upon requirement
Complete break fix as required to bring surplus kit back into use
Install end user application applications
Contact Suppliers for updates including the trusts own Supplies and Procurement Team
Organise safe storage of equipment
Assist with Sunrise stock query tickets
Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
GRN Goods as they arrive to ensure swift payments are made to suppliers
Complete Stock checks every 3 Months and raise any issues with the Team Leader/Service Delivery Manager
