Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University Hospital of North Midlands to join the Stroke team working at Royal Stoke site. We are looking for an individual to train and develop within our Stroke services.

The successful candidate with be required to assist in the delivery of outpatient clinics and be an integral part of the Stroke team in supporting the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) and on-going stroke patient care.

The successful candidate will complement the expertise already available within the specialty and have a particular interest in Stroke.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be expected to provide expert patient assessment in the diagnosis and management of neurological/stroke conditions in both in-patents and out-patient settings.

A flexible approach will be required to working for our Trust. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations i.e. community/primary care.
