Exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Band 5 registered nurse.
Should have an interest in Urology & Gynaecology, would suit a nurse about to Qualify & have been a sign off student nurse.
Main duties of the job
To work as a Band 5 registered nurse, looking after male & female patients within a 32 bedded Urology/Gynaecology ward. supporting Emergency & elective surgical procedures, following enhanced recovery principles of care, admitting & discharging patients daily, providing analgesia in the form of drug rounds & controlled drugs. Catherisation of male & female patients. administration of intravenous medications.
a surgical programme will run to support newly qualified staff & in house training will be provided throughout.
