Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time appointment scheduler to join the Imaging Directorate at UHNM.
Our scheduling teams play an important role in ensuring all patients receive timely care.This is a fast paced and demanding role where attention to detail is key and where priorities frequently change.You must be adaptable and flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative, work independently and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.
You will cover a range of duties to ensure an accurate and efficient waiting list and booking service for all patients requiring diagnostic examinations and/or treatments within the interventional suit.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with good keyboard skills and experience of using Microsoft Office. Previous experience of CRIS and iportal would be advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, flexibility and reliability in order to contribute to the delivery of a first class service to all users. This will include occasional weekend working, and may be required to work across the UHNM sites.
