Job summary

We're offering fantastic opportunities for those with NHS Imaging department experience to train as Radiographic Assistant Practitioners and ultimately secure a Band 4 post in the Imaging Directorate at the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) on the General Modality Team.

Being part of the wider UHNM family includes rotation to Royal Stoke and County Hospitals and the Community hospitals including The Haywood Hospital, Leek Moorlands Hospital Longton Cottage hospital and Cobridge medical centre

Main duties of the job

Following successful completion of The Band 4 Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship as an Assistant Practitioner you will work under the supervision of a qualified radiographer to perform protocol limited radiographic examinations of the Chest, Pelvic and Appendicular Skeleton in accordance with the trusts Expansion of Practice for Assistant Practitioners in Plain Film protocol.
