Job summary

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Information Security Facilitator to join the Data, Security & Protection (DSP) department. This is a new post supporting the Information Security (RA & Privacy) Manager with the implementation of DSP standards and DSP legislation across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

You will support the Information Security Manager in the management of the Department's sharepoint site, provide training and support on DSP and information security principles, co-ordinate and support the Information Security Manager with specialist projects and support with privacy requests and smartcard queries. You will support the DSP Team with system due diligence (new and current systems) ensuring all information security principles have been addressed.

You will be educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent experience and training. You will need a good working knowledge of NHS administrative procedures and clinical systems with a good working knowledge of software applications, including sharepoint.

As part of the DSP department, you will be a good team player but can work under your own initiative. You will need a flexible attitude in the prioritisation of your workload, due to the dynamic nature of the service and manage your work to meet tight deadlines
