If so, come and join the Specialised Therapies team at the University of North Midlands NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will rotate across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites and includes the following specialities:

  • Cardiothoracics
  • Paediatrics
  • Orthopaedics (#NOF, Elective, ARTU, Trauma & Outpatients)
  • Neurosurgery/Neurology

Main duties of the job

Supervision will be provided by the Advanced Therapists and Principal Therapists and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.

The Therapies team hosts under graduate Physiotherapists from Keele University so all Senior physiotherapists are trained as clinical educators to support the students. The department also has strong links with Keele Primary Care Centre at the University, helping to establish evidence into clinical practice and working in research trials.

The University Hospitals of North Midlands has 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which will include: weekend, late shift, bank holiday for the inpatient areas listed and on call working for the Hospital trust.
