We are looking to recruit a band 5 Pre-Assessment Nurse to deliver face-to-face and telephone pre- assessments for endoscopy procedures. You will be expected to deliver a minimal number of assessments each week.

Main duties of the job
Here are some examples of the procedures we do:
GI procedures including; OGD/Colonoscopy/Flexible sigmoidoscopy/Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)/Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)/Manometry/ Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
This opportunity will allow the individual to work as part of our dedicated, hardworking and friendly team in our JAG accredited Endoscopy unit within the Trust. Although you will be based at Royal Stoke Hospital, you may be expected to provide cross site cover at County Hospital Endoscopy unit if needed.
As a successful applicant you will have excellent communication skills, be forward thinking and well organised, with a great positive attitude towards flexibility, learning and change. Your role will be to work as part of a team providing patient centred, clinically effective and compassionate care, in line with the Trust values which will ensure the patients have a positive Endoscopy experience.
