Job summary

The FSSA Domestic is required to maintain high levels of cleanliness in all hospital wards and departments throughout University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM) Royal Stoke University Hospital (RSUH) & County Hospitals, as defined by local specifications and work schedules pertaining to area of work. There is a requirement to adhere to any local working arrangements, in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness for the UHNM NHS Trust. Individuals will need to play a key role in assisting in the prevention and control of healthcare associated Infections, be adaptable, self-motivated, work to clearly defined operational goals to complete tasks as required by UHNM. The role will also involve on the job training and an understanding of a range of other routine work procedures of the same banding criteria within Facilities services that fall outside the FSSA role an example but not limited to - catering/uniform services in line with local training arrangements.
