Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pathology IT team, within the IM&T directorate, supporting the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
The post holder will be lead technical specialist with the team, responsible for the day-to-day running of Pathology service systems and solutions.
Main duties of the job
The post holderwill assist the IT Systems Manager with the on-going development and support of Pathology and associated computer systems notably Clinisys LabCentre, Winpath Enterprise, PathManager and ICE. The post holder will be the lead on Operational Projects as delegated by the Pathology IT System Manager.
The role will include management of junior IT support staff including grievance and discipline, appraisals, training and development, return to work from sickness absence; management and planning of annual leave ensuring adequate service provision and the collation of annual leave.
