Lead Dosimetrist - Band 7
This job is now closed
Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Lead Dosimetrist to join our Radiotherapy Dosimetry team. The replacement of our fleet of 4 linacs began in 2019 with the installation of 2 Varian Truebeam machines, with the final Halcyon linac becoming clinical in the summer of 2022. The Trust is working closely with local charities to upgrade the Halcyon linac so that adaptive radiotherapy can be delivered to the patients of Staffordshire through Varian's Ethos Adaptive Therapy System. In addition to this, several service developments are planned for the coming year including the delivery of Oligometastatic SABR. The introduction of these systems into routine use will provide excellent opportunities for personal development.
