Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to become the lead Advanced Nurse Practitoner on our Early Pregnancy Unit.
The aim of the role is to provide a quality service to women with a variety of Early Pregnancy Gynaecological conditions. The practitioner role delivers high quality evidence based care within this specialised field and maintains clinical excellence.
The post holder will practice as an expert within the specialty of Early Pregnancy Gynaecology and as a specialist practitioner will provide professional advice to patients, carers and staff.
Main duties of the job
The Early Pregnancy Gynaecology ANP will educate and train other staff in their area of speciality and these may include Nursing, Midwifery and Medical students, ward or department staff, medical staff and other health professionals from within and outside the organisation e.g General Practitioners (GPs)
There will be a requirement for the post-holder to manage the current EPU nursing team.
The post holder will additionally required to undertake Early Pregnancy scans on a daily basis,
