Job summary
An exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity has arisen in the Department of Nursing, Central Functions Division, UHNM for a Senior Sister Shared Governance to lead the development and delivery of the Trust model for Shared Governance. This will involve working in partnership with the Deputy Chief Nurse, corporate Quality & Safety Team, Improving Together Team, Associate Chief Nurses, Matrons, Senior Sister/Charge Nurses and Quality Nurses to ensure the delivery of Shared Governance and implementation of effective strategies to enhance collective leadership,.
Main duties of the job
This 12 Month secondment post is a key member of the Corporate Nursing Quality & Safety Team to facilitate and co-ordinate a portfolio of quality assurance and improvement work through the Shared Governance model across the Trust to support a range of initiatives.
In this role you will be afforded the opportunity to work with both Corporate and Divisional Teams to introduce Shared Governance Councils and improve patient safety and experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in quality improvement methodology and have recent experience of involvement in patient care/safety improvement projects.
