Job summary
We are looking for experienced innovative, motivated and passionate Paediatric Clinical Support workers who enjoy the challenges and excitement of a busy, acute general Paediatric Ward and Paediatric Assessment Unit . Your remit would cover both our emergency care and elective care patients giving a wide variety of opportunities.

We work together as a multi-disciplinary team alongside our Clinicians, A &E team, Specialist Nurses, Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Paediatric Physiotherapists to facilitate a rich learning environment, maximizing our knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of care to children and their families.

Main duties of the job
The Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare, supporting the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care. This job description is to be read in conjunction with the person specification for this particular job.
