Specialist Occupational Therapist - Post Covid Service

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and experienced Occupational Therapy team within our"outstanding" Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Occupational Therapist to provide a personalized and occupation-focused approach toassessment for issues such as cognition, fatigue management, independence and activity measures, return to work, and support for self management and social prescribing.
As part of a monthly MDT clinic you will work with an MDT team, which is comprised of Physiotherapists, Respiratory Consultants, Dieticians and Psychologists, to assess the needs of patients who are experiencing the ongoing and longer term impact of Covid-19 and provide interventions to help them manage their recovery.
You will also provide one to one outpatient appointments, group sessions and participate in supporting a patient support group for post Covid patients.
Main duties of the job
To provide an effective service delivery and to be responsible for juniorOccupational Therapy staff within the speciality.
To manage an agreed caseload of patients within the service specialityarea.
To assist senior staff in the designated area of speciality to implement andmeet the recognised professional standards, the agreed therapy pathwayand best practice.
