Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills to join the Endoscopy Team at Warwick Hospital as Clinical Support Workers.
We are looking for Technical/clinical Support workers to join our team. Having experience of working in the NHS would be helpful, but not essential as we will provide a full training programme to carry out your duties. The main part of the role is to ensure effective decontamination of flexible endoscopes and ensure that decontamination processes are maintained and monitored process. In addition, training will also be available to enable you to assist the trained practitioner in caring for patients during their endoscopic procedure. The successful candidate will have the full support of the Endoscopy Unit in providing both a clinical and competency based training programme (JETS Workforce).
We are a very busy, expanding unit and are looking for someone who is flexible and reliable. The unit is open Monday to Sunday and working hours are variable to cover the needs of the service nevertheless South Warwickshire Foundation Trust operates a flexible working policy and support individuals to meet a work-life balance.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
