Job summary
Are you organised, motivated and a confident communicator with a passion for digital transformation? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Clinical Informatics team in successfully implementing a new Electronic Patient Record Trust wide.
The post holder will be an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 with expert knowledge of the clinical workflows within their chosen field. We welcome applicants from nurses, midwives and allied health professionals across all divisions.
To complete our Digital Practitioner team we are now looking for nurses and AHP's with good clinical knowledge of the following areas: outpatients, CERU, community and support services
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have significant clinical experience in their field and an interest in clinical informatics with a passion to support the Trust in their vision of a digital future.
As a clinical expert you will play a crucial part in the successful adoption and integration of the Oracle Health Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system within our healthcare facility. You will contribute to testing and localisation of the EPR for your clinical area, training and staff engagement Trust wide, supporting staff during go-live and embedding during the post go-live phase.
The post holder will be trained as a super user in the new EPR and have excellent communication skills which will enable you to confidently engage peers by teaching and cascading information within clinical areas in a variety of ways.
The post holder will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team both clinical and corporate and must be confident in using their own initiative and developing inter-professional support networks to aid the smooth implementation of the new EPR
