Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated, and ambitious Project Officer, supporting project management within the Operational Programme Management Unit with experience of providing high quality project support including delivery, information analysis and presentation. You will have knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and PDSA cycles.
An exciting opportunity within this progressive team awaits the right candidate. This is a busy, high-volume but friendly environment that will suit an organised person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit. The post holder is a key member of the project team working across several priority areas and will be expected to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support patient pathways and acute patient flow.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of the Emergency and Urgent Care Programme of work and delivery of key performance indicators.The post holder will report directly to the OPMU Project Manager but will work closely with the operational and clinical teams in each speciality to;
- Review current pathways against the national best practice guidelines fortimed pathways
- To identify areas of improvement
- To develop and manage implementation plans with agreed milestones and KPI's.
- To support the relevant teams to implement any changes, working inconjunction with the Trust's Service Improvement and BusinessDevelopment Team.
- To support the Project Manager in the production of any business cases, ifrequired.
- To manage any process, change documents and systems, reporting backto the Project Manager.
- To ensure all processes are within the scope of the Emergency and UrgentCare Programme and performance standards.
