An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Trust Grade Junior in the Emergency Department at Warwick Hospital, South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support our commitment to our patients whilst gaining additional and valuable experience across all areas of Emergency Medicine including resuscitation, Paediatric medicine, and injury management. Post holders will benefit from experience and exposure to all specialties within our department enhancing skills and knowledge.

We strongly support a culture of learning for all staff groups in order to be a center of excellence in the service we provide for our patients and the support we provide our doctors to achieve their career advancements in Emergency Medicine. Post holders will also benefit from allocated time for non-clinical CPD and ED service improvement opportunities. The department encourages career progression and offers the opportunity for progression to CT3 and higher subject to successfully meeting the requirements of this post, alternatively we actively support applicants wishing to undertake the MRCEM.
This is a 12-month fixed term post for successful applicants to complete at post foundation level and are available to start August 2024. Completion of previous rotation in an Emergency Department is therefore essential.
