Job summary

The Medical Workforce department have had a 100% success rate with all of our past apprenticeships. All of our previous appointees have either developed within the team, securing permanent employment at a higher banding with more responsibility, or internally within the trust to operational posts.

We are now looking to recruit our next apprentice with a view to repeating that success.

You can expect to learn the skills required to work in a very busy and fast paced medical HR environment. All training and support will be given, and you will gain a qualification in Business Administration at the same time.

Main duties of the job

Provide a high quality and responsive recruitment administration service to all medical specialities.

Follow medical human resources processes for junior doctors, as directed by the Medical Workforce Managers.

Adhere to the statutory framework for the appointment of senior doctors under the direction and support of the Medical Workforce Managers.Work within agreed quality standards and protocols, working closely with the medical workforce and postgraduate team to ensure provision of an effective and efficient service.

To assist the Medical Staffing Service Leads and Advisors as and when required.
