Job summary
The Trust is seeking to appoint to the position of Clinical Audit and Compliance Assistant.
It is an exciting opportunity to develop skills in administration working as part of a small but busy team.
The post holder will be a proactive, forward thinking candidate supporting the delivery and promotion of effective clinical audit and effectiveness within the Trust.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Team by registering, maintaining and retrieving Clinical Audit information from the Trust's Clinical Audit database/spreadsheet.
The Clinical Audit and Compliance Assistant will also assist with straightforward clinical audit data inputting onto audit spreadsheets prepared by Clinical Audit Facilitators.

Registering of new Clinical Audits on the Clinical Audit Database/Spreadsheet
Maintaining of Clinical Audit Database/Spreadsheet updating as and whenrequired with progress of audits
Retrieval of monthly and quarterly Clinical Audit data from the Clinical Audit Database/Spreadsheet for monitoring and reporting purposes
Assisting with straightforward clinical audit data inputting onto auditspreadsheets prepared by Clinical Audit Facilitators
Creating a list of NICE guidance on a monthly basis by accessing the NICEGuidance website under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Audit Facilitator
Using Lorenzo/E records to preparing extracts from patient notes electronically to send to NCEPOD under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Audit Facilitator
Running patient data through the MESH in order to remove the data frompatients who have opted out before it is submitted to National Audits
Signposting audit queries to the correct person in the Clinical Audit Team
Providing support for formatting trust procedural documents
Update the trust document database and assign catalogue numbers for Trust documentsEducation and training
Maintain a portfolio of evidence to support and retain the development of skills and qualifications identified during the appraisal process
Undertake Trust mandatory training modules

Contribute to meeting the requirements of the Trusts Annual Objectives
Evaluate own area of work on an ongoing basis and propose improvements as the need arises
