Job summary

The Trust is seeking to appoint to the position of Clinical Audit and Compliance Assistant.

It is an exciting opportunity to develop skills in administration working as part of a small but busy team.

The post holder will be a proactive, forward thinking candidate supporting the delivery and promotion of effective clinical audit and effectiveness within the Trust.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Team by registering, maintaining and retrieving Clinical Audit information from the Trust's Clinical Audit database/spreadsheet.

The Clinical Audit and Compliance Assistant will also assist with straightforward clinical audit data inputting onto audit spreadsheets prepared by Clinical Audit Facilitators.

Main duties of the job

Running patient data through the MESH in order to remove the data frompatients who have opted out before it is submitted to National Audits

Signposting audit queries to the correct person in the Clinical Audit Team

Providing support for formatting trust procedural documents

Update the trust document database and assign catalogue numbers for Trust documentsEducation and training

Maintain a portfolio of evidence to support and retain the development of skills and qualifications identified during the appraisal process

Undertake Trust mandatory training modules

General

Contribute to meeting the requirements of the Trusts Annual Objectives

Evaluate own area of work on an ongoing basis and propose improvements as the need arises

Set a high standard of personal work and maintain a professional attitude
