Competent Clinical Support Workers are essential to manage the patient flow through Warwick Hospital, and onwards into the local community and other services. This is one of many initiatives aimed to make the patient's journey through our services as good as it can be.
We are recruiting for a CSW to join our nursing team in the Dermatology Department. This is a fantastic opportunitywill provide you with the foundations of a career route within the healthcare industry.
You will have a mature, caring, compassionate and sensitive manner with a genuine desire and passion to help people. You must have the ability to demonstrate patience and empathy with good practical skills inspiring confidence and trust to all patients. All our support workers need to apply a non-judgmental attitude to care and have a clear understanding of confidentiality.

Main duties of the job
Undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare in the Trust. Support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
Your role will be to support and assist healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors and other integrated healthcare professionals in the delivery of quality patient care and the general wellbeing and comfort of patients. You will learn a range of skills from supporting and helping your patients with their individual needs, practical clinical observations to more specialised procedures depending on the areas in which you work.
We support learning and educational environment to ensure all employees have the right skills and knowledge to carry out their roles competently. All employees at SWFT will complete the Care Certificate which means you will be trained to a specific set of standards providing evidence you have the right knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide the best care.
There will be opportunity to complete an apprenticeship at Level 2 or 3 depending on previous experience where you can obtain a 'Healthcare Support Worker' qualification.
