Job summary
Nicholas Ward and Frailty Assessment Area is looking for compassionate, caring, motivated, Clinical Support Worker to join an exciting up and coming developing team.
At SWFT we are proud of our nationally recognised Frailty Service which includes a Frailty Assessment Ambulatory area alongside inpatient beds. Our Trust is leading the way in caring for frail and elderly patients. It is collaboratively working with community services, primary care and the local authority to develop a joined up approach.
You will get the best of both worlds with having ward based care on Nicholas and the fast pace turnover of Frailty assessment Area. We have a high standard of care and a high level of support in both areas.
To be successful you will need to have a mature, compassionate and sensitive manner with a genuine desire and passion to help people. As this is an challenging role you must have the ability to demonstrate patience and empathy, with good practical skills inspiring confidence and trust to all patients. Main duties of the job
The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives. This job description is to be read in conjunction with the person specification for this particular job.
