Job summary
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) is recruiting to one of two clinical educational fellows in Palliative Medicine. The Trust is an associated teaching hospital of the Warwick University and Buckingham Medical Schools and takes an active part in the teaching of Medical students undertaking MBChB.
This is a fixed term appointment, initially for a period of one year but with the possibility to extend for a further year.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Teaching Fellow Palliative Medicine SpR
The post is designed to support undergraduate teaching as well as supporting and gaining experience within Palliative Medicine. Post holders will teach medical students in both the hospital and university settings and will have opportunity to deliver teaching and mentorship to doctors in training.

Buckingham Medical School (BMS) is an independent medical school. The course is for undergraduates and runs for four and a half years.Phase l of both courses is substantially taught in the University setting, with students attending a number of sessions within the Trust. The remaining years of the course students predominantly attend the Trust for clinical teaching.
