Job summary

Innovate Healthcare Services is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated Project Support Officer to join our busy Programme Management Office.

Based at home and our local Warwick offices, the successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to the Project teams.

As a minimum, candidates should possess a friendly and confident personality, and the ability to work well within a team environment. Candidates should be computer literate (particularly in the use of Microsoft Office applications) and ideally possess knowledge of the PRINCE2 methodology.

Although stated as a permanent fulltime position, flexible working will be considered.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive, high level administrative and support services to projects which form the digital transformation, Out of Hospital and Primary Care Programmes for multiple hospital Trusts.

The Project Support Officer, along with their colleagues, will be responsible for the day to day running of the Programme Management Office, dealing with project requests and co-ordinating project documentation.

Job Purpose

To provide a comprehensive, high level administrative and support services to projects which form the digital transformation, Out of Hospital and Primary Care Programmes for multiple hospital Trusts.

Key Duties

  • Assist the Programme and Project Manager with the implementation of project management methodology and standards.
  • Coordination and support of the Digital Project and Programme Boards.
  • Ensuring governance materials are produced and maintained.
  • Maintain and coordinate key project artefacts such as Action logs, Risk and Issue Logs, project charters and core documentation.
  • Support project Go-lives, engagement events and communication activities.
  • Facilitate project hardware and software orders.
  • Ensure appropriate standards are met for documentation and control using PRINCE2 as appropriate.
  • Offer planning and support capacity.
  • Provide personnel and expertise to projects where appropriate.
  • Provide a centralised facility for the dissemination of management information.
  • PMO mailbox management.
  • Coordination and support of internal ICT meetings.
  • General administrative duties.
