Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Junior Trust Specialist Doctor to join our team in the Emergency Department at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

The Emergency Department attends to over 80,000 patients and provides a full range of facilities including a resuscitation room, dedicated ED X-ray facilities, separate paediatric area within the main department, operating theatre for minor procedures and emergency department ultrasound. ED has the benefit of dedicated access to physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

We aim to become a center of excellence both in the clinical service we deliver to our patients and in the support we give to our doctors with regards to career progression. The department encourages career progression and offers the opportunity for promotion to a Specialty Doctor (equivalent to Middle Grade) position subject to meeting the requirements of this post.
