Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paramedic to join the Quality Directorate to support in relation to complex and sensitive investigations.
This will involve working closely with the Senior Clinical Reviewer, Business Support and other partners to complete the required work. This will involve maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
There is an expectation that the paramedic will remain clinically credible and therefore regular clinical shifts will be undertaken.
This is a 10 month secondment opportunity, though consideration would be given for flexible working and a longer secondment. Whilst the start date is April 2026 an earlier start would also be accepted.

Main duties of the job

- The Clinical Reviewer will be responsible for undertaking reviews of incidents in a timely manner, comparing care against appropriate guidance.
- The Clinical Reviewer will work closely with the Senior Clinical Reviewer and Patient Safety Manager to identify any harm or learning from incidents.
- The Clinical Reviewer will be involved in complex and sensitive investigations and will be required to act with the utmost level of discretion.
- Maintaining clinically credible and working regular clinical shifts.
