Job summary

We are looking for Paramedic to join our team at Hospicecare on a 6 months secondment working alongside our experienced team. The candidate should have a special interest in palliative and supportive care and able to work autonomously seeing patients in the community in line with our vision"to ensure those in need receive outstanding end-of life care, in the place of their choice".

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Paramedic within Hospiscare's Rapid Response team, you will assess and review patients, prioritising their needs and working alongside nursing colleagues to support the delivery of excellent evidence-based palliative care. You will offer expert clinical advice and intervention, contributing to Hospiscare's provision of holistic care to support patients who need urgent specialist input with new, ongoing or reversible symptoms or to support patients to die in their place of choice.

The role is part of a 7-day working service, 08.30 - 19.00.
