An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Risk, Assurance and Compliance Team here at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is friendly, enthusiastic and motivated to join us. This position will play a critical role in the coordination and support needed to deliver effective Risk and Compliance practice across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
- Lead the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
- Working with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
- The post holder will work across both the risk management, assurance and compliance functions and therefore will be expected to plan and organise a significant number of processes to ensure the Trust manages its responsibilities effectively. This will require daily allocation and re-allocation of work following prioritisation to meet legislative, regulatory, organisational, and external requirements.
- Be responsible for the coordination of various meetings, leading the administration for these meetings including taking high level, accurate and comprehensive minutes, agreeing agendas with the Chair, preparing papers, and taking responsibility for maintaining the Action Point Registers ensuring actions are progressed by members of staff in a timely manner.
- Develop and lead the preparation of compliance and risk management reports/ briefings for internal and external meetings, presenting these in person if required.
- The post holder will be required to have strong analytical skills. On a regular basis, they will be reviewing and interrogating a range of qualitative and quantitative data, some of which will be complex and made up of several components.
