The Quality Directorate are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team for a 12-month secondment to support the Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality to deliver activity in relation to complex and sensitive investigations.

Main duties of the job

The Quality Directorate Business Manager will be responsible for delivering an effective business and governance management service to the Quality Directorate in relation to complex and sensitive investigations.

The post holder will be a key member of the Quality Directorate management team and will manage workstreams and projects as delegated by the Deputy Director of Quality Patient Care team to ensure the directorate runs efficiently.

The post holder will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the directorate, reviewing processes, identifying areas for improvement and leading on the implementation of improvement actions.

The post holder will be a central link between teams and departments. The Quality Directorate Business Manager will work closely with the relevant teams to ensure colleagues involved are fully supported, with issues are resolved as required.

The postholder will be involved in complex and sensitive investigations and will be required to act with the utmost level of discretion.

The post holder is the central point of contact and communication within the Quality Directorate for the co-ordination of activity complex and sensitive investigations.

The post holder will support the Quality Directors to ensure all contacts in relation to complex and sensitive investigations are managed in a timely manner.
