Technology Enhanced Learning Project Lead (INTERNAL)

Job summary

Lead the Technology Enhanced Learning Team (TEL) team reporting to the Learning and Development Manager responsible for TEL.

Lead the on development, application and implementation of digital education, including extended reality and immersive simulation.

Manage the timelines for the delivery of digital learning projects, including working with technologists and Subject Matter Experts to co-ordinate the delivery of projects within a timeframe.

Provide oversight and coordinate TEL projects as per the Trust's dynamic needs.

Work with colleagues across the Trust to identify where digital learning solutions canbe used to meet a specific business need/performance problem.

Act as subject matter expert to design, build, test, launch and evaluate digital learning products/solutions for their own portfolio of work, as well as working with subject matter experts from other departments, for example Clinical Leads.Promote the use of digital solutions by acting as a digital learning champion, bringingexpertise into the Trust on digital learning technologies, tools and resources.

Main duties of the job

Develop and oversee development of research tools, techniques and standards to create innovative and creative e-Learning resources that deliver measurable outcomes and demonstrate value for the Trust and meet the needs of the workforce ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Lead on development and maintenance of online learning environments, utilising computer programming, database query languages and graphic/instructional design and skills.Lead on the implementation of e-learning programmes on Learning Management Systems (ESR).Manage the development of multimedia (video, photographs, animation etc.), working with Subject Matter Experts in the delivery of training for the Trust, including Statutory and Mandatory Training, Clinical Skills and generic topics.Developing competency assessment tools within programmes to enable demonstration of comprehension by learners. Ensuring programmes work correctly within Learning Management Systems.Produce promotional multimedia and audio/visual material to support the activities of the Learning and Development Department, including commercial activities.Develop and promote user guides and support material to enable learners to make best use of all the learning resources availableDesign print material to support and market learning across the TrustLead on the visual and desktop publishing design elements of marketing and promotion campaigns for the Learning and Development Departments
