Job summary
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust (SWAST) are going through an exciting transformation in how we use data, analytics and business intelligence to support our patients and colleagues. We know that access to information is critical so we're implementing the latest technologies and looking to invest in new team members to support us on this journey.
We're looking for an Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master who has experience in designing and implementing Agile project frameworks and supporting team members to adopt the right techniques and mindset. If you're passionate about Agile project delivery and would like to help save lives using data then we'd love to hear from you!
Experience of NHS is helpful but not essential. More importantly you'll be great working in a team, taking a positive "can do" attitude when overcoming challenges, and be comfortable implementing Agile techniques and mindset in a team with limited prior experience.Please note the JD is indicative Band 7 subject to job evaluation review
Main duties of the job
- Lead facilitation for the delivery of data and analytics projects using Agile techniques
- Lead the setup, design, implementation, configuration and administration for Agile project software (Jira)
- Lead advisor and coach to project teams on the successful use of Agile techniques, including the definition and communication of standards and best-practices
- Provide communication (formal and informal) of project progress to stakeholders, committees and project boards
- Support, mentor and train other team members in effective use of Agile
- Role-model agile mindset and support a positive, "can do" attitude towards change
