Job summary

Support the management of the procurement across ICT, Estates/Logistics, Fleet, and Corporate portfolios;

  • Ensure the Trust is compliant with the Standard Financial Instructions in terms of procurement activities;
  • To support and conduct tendering activity / request for quotation in line with the appropriate legislation;
  • Help Keep momentum in the workflow and to raise any un-compliant requisition in line with the Trust SFIs and to release approved orders in a timely manner;
  • To support the contracts database.
  • Responsible for new supplier registration process, in line with Oracle and the procurement procedures
  • Responsible for managing incident report which are referred to procurement and escalating up the supply chain for resolution
  • To support the procurement team for general enquires /mail box
  • To support the team in compiling information for spend analysis

Main duties of the job

  • Proactively and positively contribute to the successful overall performance of the Trust;
  • Deliver excellent levels of customer service to all visitors and staff at the Trust;
  • Act as an advocate for the Trust and its contribution to the Health Service arena through creating and maintaining effective partnerships and relationships with staff, clients and the general public;
  • Support the Trust culture of collaborative, flexible cross-team working and commitment to delivering quality services and outcomes, which support the Government's policies on Healthcare;
  • Work with sensitivity and an understanding of the issues facing those working to deliver health services to the UK population;
  • Comply with corporate governance structure in keeping with the principles and standards set out by the Trust;
  • Develop effective ways of working and create strong partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders to support the implementation of the Government's policies on Health;
  • Contribute to and deliver on the Trust's Plan and Business Objectives and national and local initiatives relating to the front line emergency services;
  • Ensure the Trust meets its Emergency Preparedness requirements in line with the regional and national strategy
