Job summary

Are you a fully qualified nurse, looking to further enhance your clinical skills and work in a new diverse environment?

We're seeking nurses to work in the emergency and unscheduled pre-hospital care setting as an Ambulance Nurse. As an Ambulance Nurse you will be one of the first healthcare professionals to arrive at a range of emergency and non-emergency situations. You will be the clinical member of a two-person ambulance crew, with an Emergency Care Assistant to support you responding to 999 calls.

We'll embrace your knowledge and skills as a Nurse as well as ensuring you are supported to work within an emergency environment and able to respond to all types of call.

Having run a course in 2020 we have successfully supported several nursing colleagues from varied backgrounds into the diverse world of ambulance care. We have opportunities across our Trust geography in the South West, if you are interested then please read on...

Main duties of the job

Please note assessments for shortlisted candidates will take place on Saturday 13 May, Sunday 14 May, Saturday 20 May and Sunday 21 May. Shortlisted candidates will need to attend one assessment date.

Successful candidates will join our course commencing 2 October 2023.
