Job summary

To assist with the day to day operation of the Central stores and ensure that service requirements of Trust are met by completion of the daily delivery schedules in a timely and efficient manner.

To pick orders from stock, carry out stock takes and order stocks as required.

Input stock control on the Trust data entry systems.

Carry out deliveries to stations following routes as required.

Main duties of the job

STORES

o To order, receive and process requisitions for all stores items and issue as necessaryo Take delivery of goodso To issue stationary to Trust HQ staff and update inventory system accordingly.o Deal with enquiries and potential problems received by telephone, email and in person from potentially any person within the Trust.

STORES DELIVERIES

o Carry out deliveries to HQ and Stations around the Trust

o Accurately completing vehicle and journey documentation.o Ensure the safe transit and security of all items

Education and qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs
  • Full Driving License with a maximum of 3 points
  • Category C1 on the Driving License;
  • A minimum of two years driving experience.
  • Able to meet the requirements of the Knowledge and Skills Framework for their role.

Desirable

  • European Computer Driving License

Previous experience (Paid/ Unpaid relevant to job)
