Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Incidents Administrator based at Trust HQ, Exeter.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent written, computer, interpersonal and prioritisation skills.

The Incidents Administrator will promote a culture of continuous quality improvement within all facets of the Trust to ensure best practice in the delivery of patient care.

Main duties of the job

They will contribute to the efficient running of the adverse incident reporting system ensuring adverse incidents and Healthcare Professional Feedbacks (HCPs) are managed appropriately and well.

They will also provide general administrative support to the Senior Incidents Officer and Patient Experience Manager.

Opening and coding adverse incidents daily on the Trust's Datix system to ensure themes and trends are identified

Highlight serious incidents which require implementation of the Duty of candour process to the Incidents officer.
