Job summary

We are looking for a flexible and hard working person to support us for a fixed period of six months to support the rollout of our medical device asset tracking project.

Working alone, but with remote support by phone, the candidate will attend ambulance stations across the South West (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Wiltshire) to affix asset tags to all medical devices and manual handling equipment.

Whilst the advert lists Bristol as a base location, this could actually be anywhere in the South West and your preference should be noted on your application form.

The candidate will be required to travel around the South West using a Trust vehicle, with overnight stays of multiple nights.

No previous experience is needed as we will provide full training for the role.

Main duties of the job

  • Attending ambulance stations to tag medical devices
  • Undertake data entry into dedicated database in accurate and timely manner
  • Provide regular updates to project lead / budget holder relating to progress and issues
  • Organise and prioritise daily work schedule
  • Ensure own physical and mental wellbeing
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
  • Significant travel across the South West
