Job summary

This role will support the delivery of a wide range of processes associated with Programme Management Office (PMO) for the national Ambulance Radio Programme.

  • To provide an efficient and effective clerical support service to the Senior Management and wider team in the delivery of a range of processes, including managing various inboxes, booking travel and accommodation for the ARP team, assisting with coordinating meetings, taking notes and supporting following up actions with colleagues to ensure progress is maintained and reported accurately.

Main duties of the job

  • To manage the booking of events, accommodation and travel for ARP colleagues.
  • To support the wider team in general administrative duties.
  • Support the team in the planning and execution of full team meetings
  • Support the team with the arranging and booking of training courses.
  • To carry out other tasks/duties as directed, appropriate to the role

About us

The Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) is an enduring organisation directly appointed by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to provide and upgrade the emergency communications processes for UK ambulance services.

ARP have a large team of 80+ consisting of; commercial, finance, project, implementation, technical, user assurance and service colleagues who are based all over the country to support the delivery of our essential programmes - our colleagues are crucial to the successful delivery of this £460m programme of works.

Overall, our organisation is responsible for providing an end-to-end service to our, covering installation, maintenance and replacement, which plays a key role in enabling effective response to critical life-threatening incidents.
