An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, adaptable and well-motivated Administrator to join us as a Medical Secretary within our Mid ICA Team providing secretarial support to Consultant Psychiatrists and their teams. The post holder should demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work.

Main duties of the job
- To maintain confidentiality at all times and sensitivity when dealing with contentious and complex information.
- Co-ordinate and organise action arising from correspondence and ensure prompt and efficient response, as required, by the Consultants and Junior Medical Support Staff.
- Co-ordination with other professionals, outside Agencies, legal staff, Trust staff etc.
- Responsible for up-to-date maintenance of diaries for the medical team.
- Maintain clinic lists to ensure clients are seen within key target times.
- Attend meetings, as necessary, take and transcribe minutes, follow actions notes and disseminate information as required.
