Job summary
We are looking for a CBT therapist supervisor to join our psychological professions team, offering clinical work and supervision in our adult mental health community services. We are looking for those who are innovative, flexible, and passionate about contributing to delivering services that provide trauma-informed, person-centred care in adult community mental health.
Our CBT therapist supervisors form part of a team with our CBT Lead who sits alongside the Lead practitioner psychologists, Lead psychological professionals, Lead Nursing and Allied Health Professionals, Medical and Operational colleagues as part of an experienced, compassionate, trauma informed and person-centred multidisciplinary leadership team. We are keen to support psychological professionals' development. Training and supervision in leadership, and clinical interventions to deliver and support our NICE informed care pathways is encouraged.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide CBT to clients across all sectors of care; providing specialist CBT assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients' CBT care to non-CBT colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
As well as holding a caseload of clients the post holder will clinically supervise other CBT Therapists, Trainee CBT Therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs). Providing guidance and advice to supervisees on client treatment, onward referrals and caseload management. The post holder has no line management responsibilities.
