Job summary
Are you seeking a nurse specialist post opportunity? If so, then this is an excellent prospect for a Registered Nurse to join our service, working with children and young people who have bladder and/or bowel dysfunction. You will work within the Bladder & Bowel Specialist Service team. A significant part of this role is delivering evidence-based assessment and treatment to children and young people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
As the post holder, you will work towards providing expert specialist nurse advice and support for staff, patients, families and carers. It is essential that you are a registered children's nurse, with experience in dealing with bladder and bowel dysfunction. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills and the ability to organise your own time effectively.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will act as an educational resource in clinical practice providing specialist education to other health professionals. Our service strives to be progressive and innovative; and is well established with high work ethics and standards of care. We are looking for a committed and talented individual that will enable the service to reach its potential.
This is an extremely busy role and you must have effective organisation and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. You must be able to prioritise, organise and delegate workload, liaising with the rest of the team to ensure the most effective and efficient use of time.
