Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is keen to learn and expand their administration skills and knowledge. We work with sensitive and confidential patient information and we require the candidate to manage this complex information promptly.
The team is small and well-formed and requires someone to slip into the role. Whilst experience of patient safety is not essential, an understanding of patient safety and/or safeguarding would be helpful.
The candidatewill provide administrative support within the patient safety team to support proactive incident management and improvement activity. The successful individual will be highly computer literate, able to self-motivate , work under remote supervisionand deal professionally and appropriately with confidential issues.
Main duties of the job

Acting as a first point of contact for the team communicating effectively with a wide range of internal and external personnel.

Support colleagues from across the Trust to use the Incident Management System to identify, manage and improve patient safety.

Support the patient safety coordinator in providing accurate information for performance review and provision of reports.

Coordinate training, engagement and improvement activity within incident management and wider patient safety team.

Provide administrative support during high-level patient safety meetings to ensure actions are captured and taken forward.
